Fact: if a message can be read in a different way, that's most likely how I'll read the message.

Example: saying something that SOUNDS like you're jealous and saying something that sounds flirty - I will read as such. I don't want to say to be careful what you text me, but I've never received these sorts of texts before from the person in question, so I'm not sure how to handle the feels I get from it, especially when I shouldn't be having feels in the first place.

Or at least I'm pretty sure I shouldn't be, because I sincerely doubt he meant for me to read it that way and I am once again getting an ego boost from nothing.
